Founder Casey Hakansson founded the freeski manufacturing company MOMENTSKI in Reno, Nevada in 2002 at the young age of 24. He realized that there were no skis that met his vision, so he decided to make his own. After much trial and error, he created the skis that MOMENTSKI was born! The company has now been handed over to his successor as CEO, Luke, who continues to use his youth to create flexible, original skis.

The top and tail designs used on many MOMENTSKI boards are often square (straight), but what's more, the graphics are delicate and the attention to detail is great, attracting the attention of many people.
MOMENT also wins many awards every year, and among its many awards is the revolutionary "Triple Camber" camber style, which MOMENT invented and is even more impressive than it looks. If you have the chance, be sure to test it out.
MOMENTSKI continues to evolve every year, and the Backcountry line in particular is lighter and more nimble. Not only are they easy to ride, but they also offer excellent, well-balanced sizing. All boards are designed and crafted in-house at our own factory, then immediately tested at nearby Mt. Rose ski resort. We test repeatedly on a variety of slopes. This allows us to add new models to our lineup even during the season, minimizing production waste. MOMENTSKI's ability to continue taking on new challenges is a constant source of surprises!

AMERICAN MADE
99% of MOMENTSKI's parts are made in the USA. In our factory, we build, cut, lay up, and press all wood cores to fit each ski. Once all the parts are assembled and pressed, the skis are trimmed to their original shape, tuned up, and waxed in our own factory. Check out the video!
